Crystal De Soto - Founder, Local Point of View

Born and raised in San Diego, I have spent my life exploring the natural world around me.  I have worked as a naturalist and educator for the past 12 years.  My specialty is marine education where I have managed the whale watching program for Birch Aquarium at Scripps, led SCUBA instruction at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and performed on the Wyland Foundation Clean Water Challenge.

I am always seeking new local adventures and welcome ideas.  My latest adventures have been exploring Anza Borrego Desert in search of new off-road trails and hidden treasures.
