Institute FOR GLOBAL Healing Center for Peace, Cultural Arts & Humanities
As part of a national campaign to establish a Center for Peace on every evacuated military base slated for renovation, it is the vision of The Institute for Global Healing is to establish, a Center Peace, Cultural Arts & Humanities at Liberty Station in San Diego, California, formerly The Naval Training Center. Once this is completed it will be used as a model to establish a Center for Peace on evacuated military bases in other major cities nationwide.
The Center for Peace, Cultural Arts & Humanities will be an extraordinary place of wonder & spectacle, beauty & culture, providing education that fosters peace throughout our global community. A place that inspires the creative spirit and where art, creativity, human relations and education are utilized as a vital and necessary part of everyday life. A Center to be utilized residents and local business, large & small, operating for the enrichment of humanity. A place where individuals can come together in an active, productive, and stimulating environment. People will be talking about the exciting, new and innovative Peace, Cultural Arts & Humanities Center and cultural tourists will certainly mark this as a "Must See" on their itinerary. Community groups, civic organizations, men, women & children will flock to the center to participate in its various programs.
The elements of the Center for Peace, Cultural Arts & Humanities will include:
WOMEN'S CENTER A 38,000 sq. ft Women’s Center to consist of a art studio café, health center day spa with a state of the art women's business, media, education center and executive suites. This facility will serve as the headquarters for Women's Global Alliance for Peace and will be a women's resource center that will provide a multi-cultural environment offering to women & teenage girls, mentoring, leadership training, on going seminars and workshopsin life skills education. This center will also serve as an incubator for start up business and business development. Each aspect of the center will be utilized to provide business training and on-going support for business start up, financing, education & development. Trainees will be teamed up with experts in their fields to provide mentoring and on-going support.
Business training to include ownership, development & management in the following areas;
Interactive Global Village & Youth Center This 15,000 sq. ft facility is to designed as a global village for cultural immersion providing language programs, international cultural exchange, music, visual arts, performing arts, storytelling, creative writing and education on global environment, global relations and human potential. This Global Youth Center will offer life skills education, peer mentoring programs, leadership training, peace building skills & multi-cultural diversity training through visual & performing arts specifically addressing cultural differences & social issues.
The Center for Global Relations This 28,000 sq. ft. facility will include executive suites, a state of the art conference facility with translation devices, a travel & resource center, and meeting rooms that provides a think tank environment to foster cooperation among diverse institutions, non-profit & for profit, operating for the enrichment of our global community.
Center for Visionary Leadership This 10,000 sq. ft. facility will include a resource center, conference rooms and state of the art educational facility that will provide a think tank environment to foster cooperation among diverse institutions, non-profit & for profit, operating for the enrichment of our local and global community. Within this facility we will offer visionary leadership training programs for individuals, businesses and educators based on leadership and decision making for the highest good of all concerned now and for seven generations to come.
Center for Community Solutions This 10,000 sq. ft. facility will include a resource center, conference rooms and state of the art research facility that provides a think tank environment to foster cooperation among individuals and diverse institutions, non-profit & for profit, private institutions, city and government and explore, expand and implement effective community solutions.
Center for the Art & Science of Human Perception & A 25,000 sq. ft facility to include a restaurant, mind expansion creativity center, a gallery/museum showcasing the masters who have brought about higher thinking regarding human perception and a state of the art research and training facility providing education for tapping into and expressing, collectively and individually, our greatest human potential.
Center for Conscious Evolution A 25,000 sq. ft facility to include a community garden, educational facility center and state of the art research & resource center regarding our interconnection with all species and the conscious evolution of our planet.
There will be a plaza in the center of the 5 buildings which will be lined with 10-12 ft statues of international peacemakers and utilized as an outdoor art studio café where artist will showcase their art while providing entertainment for café clientele. This plaza will serve as a special events venue for charitable benefits and monthly programs that feature culinary delights, musicians, & artists representing various cultures worldwide.
