Who we are

The Global Voice is an independent journalism organisation covering geopolitics, conflict, markets, and technology. We were founded on a single conviction: that the Indian perspective on world affairs deserves better than the coverage it currently gets.

We are a small team. Every person here has a visible impact on what we publish and how we are perceived. The people who join at this stage will shape what this publication becomes over the next decade.

What we expect

We expect intellectual engagement with the subject matter. We cover some of the most complex stories in the world: geopolitical shifts, financial systems, technology and power, the domestic politics of a country of 1.4 billion people. You do not need to be an expert in everything, but you need to be genuinely curious about all of it.

We expect speed without sacrificing accuracy. We are a daily publication. A good story published tomorrow is better than a perfect story published never, but a wrong story published fast is worse than either.

We expect original thinking. The easiest thing in journalism is to summarise what other people have already reported. We are not here for that.

We are looking for writers, researchers, designers, video editors, and social media managers who are serious about geopolitics and want to be part of building something from the ground up. If you follow world affairs closely, work fast without cutting corners, and want your work to matter from day one, there is likely a place for you here. All positions are full-time and in-office.
