WRITE FOR US

We publish guest posts from writers, analysts, and practitioners with something original to say about India, geopolitics, and the forces shaping the world.

The Global Voice publishes guest posts from contributors who bring expertise, access, or a point of view that adds something to the conversation. We are not a platform for general opinion. We are looking for specific, well-argued, well-reported pieces from people who know their subject.

What we publish

Analysis: a piece that takes a position on a geopolitical, economic, or technology question and defends it with evidence. Having a view is not enough. You need to show the reasoning.

Opinion and counter-opinion: we run opinion pieces in pairs where possible, one argument and one counter on the same question. If you want to write the argument, pitch it. If you want to write a counter to something we have already published, pitch that too.

Reported pieces: if you have access to a story, a source, or a context that our team does not, that is the most valuable thing you can offer. Tell us what you can get that we cannot.

Long-form essays: pieces of 2,000 words and above that examine a theme in depth. These earn their length by saying something that could not have been said shorter.

What we do not publish

Press releases presented as analysis. Opinion pieces that rehearse familiar arguments without adding to them. Pieces that attack individuals without factual grounding. Work that has been published elsewhere or is being simultaneously offered to other outlets.

What you get

A byline on a publication that takes geopolitics seriously. An editorial process that will make your piece better. An audience that is here precisely because they want original analysis on India and the world.

We do not pay for guest posts at this stage. We are a new publication building our editorial foundation. Contributors who join us now are part of that.

How to pitch

Send 200 words or fewer to pitches@theglobalvoice.com explaining what the piece is, why it matters now, and why you are the person to write it. Include two examples of your published work.

We read every pitch. We respond to the ones we want to pursue, usually within a week.
